2 young children missing from Surprise found safe, police say

PHOENIX — Two children reported missing from Surprise were found safe late Wednesday, authorities said.

Zhariel Cain, 9, and Kross Cain, 3, had not been seen since last weekend and were believed to have been with their noncustodial biological mother, Desiria Bell, 36, the Surprise Police Department said.

The children had last been seen in Bell’s company Sunday around 1 p.m. near Cotton Lane and Bell Road.

Police said the children were in good health and would be reunited with family.

No other details were made available.
