PHOENIX — Some students attending Primavera Online high school can soon receive scholarships for their good grades through a merit-based opportunity, the school announced.

Funding for the scholarship will begin during the 2022-23 school year from StrongMind and will be based on students’ grades and GPA, according to a press release.

The scholarship reaches up to $2,400 and can be used toward college, vocational school and certifications.

Juniors and seniors in high school must meet eligibility requirements, which include full-time enrollment at Primavera Online for a minimum of two years and successfully graduating from the school, the release said.

“At Primavera, we are so proud of our students and the hard work they put into their schoolwork every day,” Jason Tourville, executive director of academic at Primavera Online, said in the release.

“So, it is with great excitement that we introduce this new opportunity that will reward student success.”

We want to hear from you.
