PHOENIX — Falcon Line has launched a premium ride share service for transportation between Phoenix and Tucson via Tesla cars.

The Scottsdale-based company offers fully electric, premium, business class service from point A to point B with professional drivers in a fleet of Tesla Model X vehicles.

Equipped with retractable desks in the back seats and 5G Wi-Fi, Falcon Line aims to make personal and business travel productive and desirable.

“Most users of our service are looking for travel accommodations between 75-200 miles in length, and the Phoenix to Tucson route is the first of many corridor travel options in our plans to roll out across the U.S.,” Michael Puhala, CEO and founder of Falcon Line, said in a press release.

Fares range from $100-$300, can be one-way or roundtrip and all reservations must be made in advance to assure all arrangements can be met. Falcon Line will also be offering subscription services for frequent passengers traveling between the metropolitan areas, according to the release.

All vehicles are equipped with an advanced air purifying system and are sanitized after each trip, allowing travelers to feel safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Today’s travelers want a consistent experience that is safe, convenient and mindful,” Puhala said. “Falcon Line was born with this consumer in mind. Plus, not only does Tesla provide a gold standard luxury travel experience, it is an electric car that’s better for the environment, and as an added benefit, can use the HOV lane during high traffic times.”

Passengers who book a seat will get point to point drop off, whereas passengers who reserve the entire car will have the added benefit of door-to-door service.

Pickup and drop-off locations in the Valley are in north Scottsdale at the Scottsdale Quarter and near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. In Tucson, the designated pickup and drop-off location is at La Encantada Shopping Center.

Falcon Line is set to expand to Flagstaff and Sedona in May, the company said.

Additional corridors across the U.S. for potential expansion have been identified by Falcon Line, including various cities in Texas.

The company’s goal is to expand to 10 corridors by the end of next year and 25 corridors in the next five years, according to the release.
