PHOENIX — President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to be one of the speakers at Turning Point’s AmericaFest event in Phoenix this weekend.
The four-day event at the Phoenix Convention Center will mark Trump’s first trip to the Grand Canyon State since he won back the presidency, which included an electorate victory in Arizona.
The event runs Thursday through Sunday, and Trump will speak on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
“We are incredibly honored that President Trump will deliver his first rally-style speech since the election at AmFest 2024 in Phoenix,” Founder and President of Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action Charlie Kirk said in a press release. “This was already the largest multi-day event in the movement, and this year will be the biggest we’ve ever hosted, by far.
“When I spoke to the president, he said he’d only do it if we called it a ‘Tribute to Arizona,’ so that’s exactly what we’re doing. President Trump knows the people of Arizona have always been with him, they’re loyal to him and they just delivered the largest win for him of all of the swing states, giving him a 5.5% margin of victory.”

President-elect Donald Trump returns to Arizona
Trump last appeared in Arizona at a Tucker Carlson event in Glendale on Halloween.
It was the president-elect’s final push in the battleground state that he ended up winning handily.
Trump bested Democrat Kamala Harris by 5.5% — nearly 190,000 votes — in the Nov. 5 general election in Arizona.
