PHOENIX — Authorities are investigating a plane crash that occurred in a neighborhood area in Cottonwood on Sunday, authorities said.

The plane crashed into a home on Spur Drive. 

The pilot was transported to a hospital but is in stable condition. No one else was on board the plane and no one on the ground was injured.

Authorities say damage to the plane was limited and there was no damage to the house.

The investigation is ongoing. No other information was made available at the time.
