PHOENIX — The holidays are just around the corner, which means holiday activities are too.

The popular Phoenix ZooLights will return Nov. 7 through Jan. 31, now with two ways to experience the magic.

Visitors can choose to either take the classic walk-through journey or a socially-distanced alternative Cruise ZooLights experience from the comfort of their own car. Tickets will be on sale starting Thursday.

The Phoenix Zoo first introduced the drive-thru concept to guests in May with Cruise the Zoo. It has now been transformed to fit their annual holiday event.

The events will take place on separate, select nights. Gates will be open from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Zoo members can attend special preview nights Nov. 4 through Nov. 6.

Guests attending ZooLights on foot or by car will see millions of twinkling lights, a three-story lighted tree and the new Wildlife Lantern Safari, which features 66 glowing creatures.

Attendees can also meet Santa and his elves for a photo, ride the Endangered Species carousel and ride a camel at an extra cost during the walking event.

We want to hear from you.
