PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a stabbing that left two injured after a confrontation with their neighbor Saturday morning, authorities said.

Police were called to the area near 12th Ave. and Mountain View Road around 11:30 a.m. about a stabbing and when they arrived found a man and woman, both in their mid-to-late 40’s who suffered multiple stab wounds, according to a press release.

Officers were told by witnesses that the suspect, later identified as Bryan Davis, went back into his apartment after the altercation.

The victims were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, the release said.

Police then attempted to communicate with Davis but he didn’t respond, according to the release.

Officers then obtained a search warrant to enter his apartment and as officers approached, the suspect gave in and he was detained.

During investigation, detectives learned the argument started after the victims confronted the suspect after hearing him banging on their apartment wall, authorities said.

Davis will be booked on multiple felony charges and the booking information will be released when available.

The victims are still in the hospital in serious condition.
