Pedestrian killed near Loop 101 and Baseline Road

PHOENIX – A pedestrian was killed near a freeway ramp in Tempe early Tuesday in a collision with a semitrailer, authorities said.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the on-ramp to southbound Loop 101 Price Freeway was closed at Baseline Road for the investigation.
No other information was immediately available.
