No Chance: Rapper cancels postponed Glendale show, entire tour

PHOENIX – Bad news, Phoenix-area rap fans: There’s no Chance.
Chance the Rapper has canceled his already postponed Big Day tour, which included a show scheduled for Jan. 19 at Gila River Arena in Glendale.
Internet and phone orders were automatically canceled and refunded, according to Ticketmaster. For other sales methods, refunds were available at the point of purchase.
The Grammy Award-winning performer was originally set to launch the tour and stop in the Valley in September.

But five days before the kickoff show in San Francisco, he announced that he was delaying the tour so he could spend time with a new baby at home.
The rescheduled tour was called off a full month before it was supposed to launch in San Diego on Jan. 15.
Chance, who won the 2017 Grammy for best new artist, apologized to fans while announcing the cancellations on Instagram with the following message:
ArrayHey guys I’ve decided to cancel the Big Tour. I know it sucks and its been a lot of back and forth with reschedules and rerouting, but it’s for the best. I’m gonna take this time to be with family, make some new music and develop my best show to date. I’m deeply sorry to anyone with a ticket who has supported me this past decade by coming to a show and rocking out with me and I feel even worse for anyone who was planning on making this their first Chance concert. Thank you all for an amazing year, and a huge thanks to my team and family for being so strong through this whole year. I promise to come back much stronger and better in 2020 and hope to see some of you guys there. I truly love you and God bless.
