UPDATE: The event has been postponed and rescheduled to Oct. 23 because of the coronavirus outbreak.

PHOENIX — Heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch will make a stop in Phoenix this spring to promote the group’s upcoming eighth album.

The Las Vegas band will perform at Talking Stick Resort Arena with Papa Roach, I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills on April 18, 2020 (Update: Oct. 23 is the new date).

Presales began Monday, while tickets will go on sale to the public Friday at 10 a.m.

The 23-date tour begins April 8 in Sunrise, Florida and ends May 20 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Five Finger Death Punch’s latest album, “F8,” will drop Feb. 28. Fans who preorder the album get an instant download of its first single, “Inside Out.”

“This record to me is ‘absolution’ — everything I’ve done in my life has led up to this moment,” vocalist Ivan Moody said in a press release.

The group formed in 2005, with its first album “The Way of the Fist” being released two years later.
