Life Time plans to open club at Scottsdale Fashion Square in 2023

PHOENIX — High-end fitness club Life Time announced plans Monday to open a location at Scottsdale Fashion Square in 2023.
The 40,000 square-foot gym will have three levels and be located adjacent to the entrance of the mall’s Luxury Wing at the north end of the property, according to a press release.
There will be exclusive programming in dedicated studios for group fitness, cycle, yoga and small group training, the fitness company said, in addition to a rooftop beach club and bar.
It’s the second Life Time to open with Macerich, the company that owns the mall. Life Time opened a gym at the Macerich-owned Biltmore Fashion Park in March 2020.

“We are excited to work with Macerich to bring our Life Time Athletic resort to Fashion Square and serve even more of the Phoenix area with the best wellness experiences and programming,” Parham Javaheri, chief property development officer at Life Time, said in the release.
“We know from the success of Biltmore that people enjoy the high-end offerings that Life Time brings to Macerich’s retail and mixed-use locations and look forward to what’s ahead.”
Life Time has five other Valley locations in addition to the fitness club at Biltmore Fashion Park.
