PHOENIX — Arizona’s largest dispensary will become the first shop in the state next month to offer 24-hour service on select days of the week.

Mint Cannabis located near Baseline Road and Priest Drive will debut its around-the-clock hours Oct. 13, according to a Mint Cannabis press release.

The extended hours will be offered on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

“Pursuing approvals for operational changes like this one brings the Mint closer to other essential service operators that provide care options, like pharmacies,” Eivan Shahara, co-founder and CEO of Brightroot, Inc., parent company of Mint Cannabis, said in the release.

“It allows us to better serve our most in-need individuals during overnight hours and customers who have different work shifts.”

While the dispensary was approved to operate its 24-hour service 365 days per year, extended hours for other days could be implemented in the future based on demand.

On the first day of its service, the dispensary will offer buy-one get-one deals, giveaways and 25% off every purchase made in the store.

As the launch of the service lands on National M&M Day, chefs at the Mint Café will prepare infused M&M treats, ranging from cupcakes and cookies to cheesecakes and trail mixes.

“Not only is the Mint a trailblazer in the cannabis industry, but the entire Mint team operates with a lot of heart — they help people in the community year-round,” Jeff Kulaga, Guadalupe town manager, said in the release.

“We’re grateful to have the largest dispensary in the state right here in our backyard, as the tax revenues they generate help our schools, residents and town services.”

The Mint will continue expanding operations in the Valley, with two locations set to open within the year.
