Hiring search begins for new Phoenix College president

PHOENIX — Maricopa Community Colleges announced Wednesday it had begun a nationwide search for a president for Phoenix College.
According to a recent release, the goal is to fill the position by February 2016.
The college district has hired a consultant to help identify talent, including candidates who may not be currently looking for a new position, according to the release.
A notice posted on the college’s website said applications were due in early November.
The new president will replace Anna Solley. She retired earlier this year after serving as interim president and president over a 10-year span.
