Here’s the best Arizona cities to celebrate Fourth of July, per WalletHub

PHOENIX — A personal finance website ranked which Arizona cities were the best places to celebrate Independence Day.

In a ranking of the 100 most populated U.S. cities, WalletHub determined Tucson was the best city in Arizona to celebrate the holiday.

Scottsdale was the next-best city, followed by Phoenix, Glendale, Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert.

The cities were ranked based on five key dimensions, including celebrations, affordability, weather forecast, activities and attractions as well as safety and accessibility.

New York City was found to be the best place to celebrate the holiday, while San Francisco placed second.

Tucson was ranked No. 37, followed closely by Scottsdale (No. 50), Phoenix (No. 59), Glendale (No. 66), Mesa (No. 67).

The East Valley cities of Chandler and Gilbert were not well-favored in the ranking, placing No. 93 and No. 95, respectively.

Laredo, Texas, was found to be the worst city to spend the Fourth of July.
