Facebook’s check-in feature, a relatively new addition to Facebook, allows users to check-in to a location they are currently at. Using that data, Facebook compiled a list of the top 20 check-in locations of the year.

Arizona does make an appearence on the list and as one would guess, it was the Grand Canyon. The wonder of the world is No. 7 on the list, sandwiched by Yosemite National Park at No. 8 and the Siam Paragon in Thailand at No. 6.

The first singular location featured on the list is in the United States. Times Square in New York checked in at No.3.

Singapore has two locations on the list, with the Gardens by the Bay at No. 13 and Marina Bay Sands at No. 14.

Two sporting venus also make the list. Madison Square Garden earns its keep as “the world’s most famous arena” by coming in first among all sports venues at No. 17. Not far behind is Camp Nou at No. 19, the soccer stadium that is home for the Spanish giants FC Barcelona.

Disney and Universal theme park locations came in at No. 1 and No. 2.

We want to hear from you.
