Fry’s Food Stores to open new Queen Creek location Wednesday

PHOENIX — Fry’s Food Stores is opening its new Queen Creek location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday morning.

Queen Creek Mayor Gail Barney will deliver remarks when the 127,400-square-foot, full-service grocery store at 25105 E. Ellsworth Road will opens at 7 a.m.

The first 250 customers in line will each get a $10 gift card.

“All of our associates at the new store are looking forward to meeting our new neighbors in Queen Creek,” Monica Garnes, president of Fry’s Food Stores, said in a recent press release.

“Not only will our customers find fresh, affordable food, but they will also find some of the most friendly and caring associates who are ready to meet their everyday needs.”

The new store will feature a modern design with a variety of amenities people have come to know from the grocer, including a cheese shop, sushi station, Starbucks, Chompie’s, an extensive wine department, apparel department, housewares department and a fuel center.

Chris Adams, who has 30 years of grocery experience working for Fry’s Food Stores, will manage the new store.

After opening day, the store will be opened daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
