PHOENIX — People can experience Disney’s newest hit “Encanto” in a unique way with a sing-along film concert at Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix this summer.
Tickets are on sale now for Encanto: The Sing-Along Film Concert Tour at Ak-Chin Pavilion on July 23.
The event features a showing of the movie that took home this year’s Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film accompanied by an on-stage band that will play songs from the beloved soundtrack, according to a press release.
Among the songs the band will play include “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” “The Family Madrigal” and “Surface Pressure.”
Eight of the songs on the soundtrack are from Tony- and Grammy-winning songwriter and composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, known for his work on “Hamilton” and “Moana.”
The soundtrack sat atop the Billboard 200 album chart for nine non-consecutive weeks, according to the release, with “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” holding the top spot on the Hot 100 chart for five weeks.
The 32-city tour gets underway on July 18 in Washington and concludes on Aug. 28 in Illinois.
