PHOENIX – There’s now a way to enjoy a meal outdoors and indoors at the same time in Scottsdale.
Desert Domes have popped up outside the Culinary Dropout at Scottsdale Quarter, providing a fresh dining-out experience with COVID-19 safety in mind.
“This is a truly unique and memorable way to enjoy a delicious meal in the privacy of your very own ‘bubble,’” Richard Hunt, Scottsdale Quarter general manager, said in a press release.
The partially enclosed geodesic domes debuted last week and will be available for reservation by parties of 2-6 through March.
Each unit is heated and furnished with “comfortable seating, desert-chic décor and ambient lighting,” according to the release.
Patrons can order anything from Culinary Dropout’s food and drink menus. They can also venture from their bubble to partake in the restaurant’s yard games.
“Our new Desert Dome dining option is perfect for guests who are more comfortable dining outdoors or who want a more private experience,” Ryan Justesen, Culinary Dropout general manager, said in the release.
Culinary Dropout opened its fifth metro Phoenix location in the upscale Scottsdale Quarter shopping center in October 2020.
