PHOENIX – It’s about to get even harder to decide where to eat, drink and mingle when visiting downtown Gilbert’s Heritage District.

Culinary Dropout announced last week that its fourth Valley location will open April 3, adding to the plethora of dining and beverage options on the bustling stretch of Gilbert Road south of the Western Powerline Trail.

The 25,000-square-foot restaurant and bar will feature indoor-outdoor seating, two private dining rooms and a yard area where visitors can play cornhole or pingpong while enjoying a beverage or a bite.

It will be the second Fox Restaurant Concepts venue in the East Valley town’s entertainment district, joining Zinburger.

The wide-ranging menu will include popular items also found at Culinary Dropout’s Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe locations, such as honey-drizzled fried chicken, 36-hour pork ribs and soft pretzels with provolone fondue.

Before the venue can open, it needs to staff up. That’s why there will be a two-week job fair to fill 190 openings for management, chefs, line and prep cooks, bakers, dishwashers, servers, bartenders, hosts, security and banquet servers.

Job seekers can apply in person March 4-9 and March 11-16 at 383 N. Gilbert Road from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Applications also can be submitted at the restaurant’s website.

In addition to the metro Phoenix spots, Culinary Dropout has locations in Tucson, Las Vegas and Austin, Texas.

We want to hear from you.
