PHOENIX – An East Valley coffee roaster will begin brewing drinks and beverages at a second location starting Tuesday morning.

Family-owned Peixoto Coffee opened in Gilbert’s Epicenter at Agritopia near Ray and Higley roads, operating from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The specialty coffee sellers opened their first shop in downtown Chandler and describe their offerings as “A crop to cup coffee experience, from our family farm in Brazil to your cup.”

According to the company’s web page history, the Peixoto family has been in the coffee business for over 100 years, starting in Brazil, on a farm where they still grow their beans.

Epicenter at Agritopia, a mixed-used development, opened in the summer.
