PHOENIX — The National Park Service is searching for a missing 45-year-old man that was last seen at Grand Canyon National Park last month.

Gabor Berczi-Tomcsanyi, a Hungarian national, is believed to have traveled to the South Rim of the park on or around July 19, according to a press release on Thursday.

He is described as standing 6-feet tall and weighing 170 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Park rangers are unsure what the man was wearing or what his plans were.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police detectives three weeks after Berczi-Tomcsanyi traveled to the Grand Canyon reached out to park rangers who were able to locate his vehicle at the visitor center.

Anyone who may have seen or interacted with the man is asked to contact the National Park Service Investigative Services Branch by phone at 888-653-0009, online or by email.

No additional information was made available.

We want to hear from you.
