Arizona politicians send condolences after death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg

PHOENIX — Arizona politicians sent their condolences following the news of the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died at the age of 87 on Friday.
Ginsburg, the Supreme Court’s second female justice behind Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, was known as a feminist icon who championed women’s rights.
Her appointment by President Bill Clinton in 1993 was the first by a Democrat in 26 years.
