PHOENIX – Campaign season and spooky season are colliding in Arizona, with both presidential candidates appearing in the battleground state on Halloween.

Up first, Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, will hold a midday rally Thursday at a west Phoenix concert venue.

About five hours later, former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, will be interviewed by Tucker Carlson a few miles away in Glendale.

It will likely be the presidential candidates’ last visit to Arizona before Tuesday’s general election. However, it won’t be the last time the state welcomes a White House hopeful.

In fact, both vice presidential candidates will be in the Grand Canyon State on Saturday to make a final plea to late voters.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Harris’ running mate, will make campaign stops in Flagstaff in the afternoon and Tucson that evening. Meanwhile, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, Trump’s running mate, will speak during an afternoon rally in Scottsdale.

Here’s what we know about the presidential candidates’ Halloween plans:

Kamala Harris joined by Los Tigres del Norte in Arizona

Harris’ rally will take place at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, an outdoor venue with room for 20,000 attendees.

The latest stop on the vice president’s “When We Vote We Win” tour will include a concert by Grammy Award-winning norteño band Los Tigres del Norte.

Anybody interested in attending must RSVP online. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., and guests are encouraged to arrive before noon or they might not get in. Harris is expected to speak at some time after 1 p.m. before flying to Nevada for campaign events in Reno and Las Vegas.

Tucker Carlson to interview Donald Trump

Trump’s appearance won’t be one of his usual rallies. He’ll be sitting down with Carlson to cap the conservative political commentator’s nationwide tour at Desert Diamond Arena, which is about 6 miles from the site of Harris’ rally and has a similar capacity.

Some tickets were still available as of Thursday morning, mostly in the upper deck and starting at $20 plus fees.

The event will start at 6 p.m., but attendees are encouraged to arrive by 4 p.m. to make it through Secret Service security checkpoints by showtime.

All proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief, Carlson said.

We want to hear from you.
