PHOENIX — The Arizona Humane Society is waiving all adoption fees in November for its senior pets.

Fees for dogs and cats six years and older will be covered by longtime AHS President’s Club member Patricia Gaynor, according to a press release.

AHS says older pets are well-equipped for households that have less available time for training and can take in animals for their final years.

Most senior pets have established behavior and are less destructive than puppies and kittens.

Adoptions are only available at the Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion at 1521 W. Dobbins Road in Phoenix.

The Phoenix location is open for adoptions from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.

All adoptions are by appointment only.

We want to hear from you.
