PHOENIX — Copper Blues Live and the Arizona Humane Society are partnering to provide an opportunity for dogs and their owners to get a night out as the summer winds down.

The two will host “Yappy Hour” on Sept. 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the Desert Ridge Marketplace in north Phoenix.

One dollar will be donated to AHS for each drink purchased at Copper Blues Live’s outdoor bar, according to a press release.

Guests can reserve a spot for free, but space is limited. Yappy Hour tickets are available online.

Various dog-themed stations will also be set up around the mall.

AHS will have a “Cuddle Bunch Zone” where people can interact with puppies available for adaption.

There will also be two areas where dogs can go off-leash, one near and another in the Barnes & Noble Courtyard.

Water bowls, doggies bags and trash cans will be provided.

Tempe-native Alexia Rodriguez will play live acoustic music at The District stage.

We want to hear from you.
