PHOENIX — Police said Tuesday they found the vehicle of a Phoenix woman who was reported missing by her family days ago.

The Phoenix Police Department said the search continues for Irene Luevano, 37, last known to be with her boyfriend on Saturday at a bar near 27th Avenue and Camelback Road.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are aiding in the search for Luevano, who may be in need of medical attention, authorities said.

The car, a gray four-door 2007 Chevy Impala, was located near 107th Avenue and Buckeye Road.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said Luevano contacted her family at 4 a.m. on Sunday and told them she was stabbed in the neck by her boyfriend.

Luevano’s boyfriend was found at a hospital where medical staff said he had stab wounds that appeared to be self-inflicted, authorities said.

Luevano stands 5-foot-4, weighs 180 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black dress and black shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO.

We want to hear from you.
