81-year-old woman dead following drowning in Glendale

PHOENIX — An 81-year-old woman died Sunday following a drowning incident, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
Authorities found the woman unconscious in a pool at a house near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Cholla Street in Glendale.
The woman was unable to be resuscitated and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
No other information was immediately available.
