PHOENIX — Luck has struck again at a metro Phoenix grocery store that sold a second $50,000 Powerball ticket in as many months.
The slip was purchased at the Fry’s grocery store near Palisades and Shea boulevards for Monday’s drawing, according to the Arizona Lottery.
The winning numbers were 3, 9, 26, 61 and 67, with a red Powerball number of 13.
The slip hit four of the numbers plus the red Powerball number. There’s a 1 in 913,129 chance to hit the five-figure prize.
The estimated jackpot for the next drawing held Wednesday is $240 million.
Winning Powerball ticket previously sold at same location
The Fry’s grocery store is seemingly good luck for Powerball players.
Another $50,000 prize was sold at the location for the Nov. 13 drawing and even had some of the same winning numbers.
The numbers were 9, 20, 26, 43 and 58, with a red Powerball number of 9.
As with all Arizona Lottery games, the winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the payout.
