PHOENIX — Tempe-based Cartel Coffee Labs is offering free drip coffee Friday at the grand opening of its Paradise Valley location.

Until 3 p.m., the coffee roasters and brewers were also offering a free drink card for every $25 spent and a chance to win free coffee for a year.

The shop opened at Shea and Tatum boulevards, becoming Cartel’s fifth location in the Valley, including one at Sky Harbor Airport.

The Phoenix Business Journal reported another location is planned within an Arrive Hotel coming to Fourth Avenue and Camelback Road early next year.

Cartel also has shops in Tucson; Austin, Texas; and Palm Springs, California.
