FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Authorities say a man is perched in a large pine tree near Flagstaff's Lowell Observatory in protest of a sewage line under construction.

Flagstaff police say the property owner will pursue trespassing charges after the man is arrested, which won't take happen until he gets out of the tree.

The group protesting the sewage line identifies the tree sitter as a Northern Arizona University student.

The Arizona Republic says the group is against the near-completion of a 14-mile sewage pipeline. The group claims the pipeline will be hazardous and contain antibiotic resistant genes.
