TUCSON, Ariz. The son of a southern Arizona police chief has been arrested on arson and fraud charges.

Cochise County Sheriff's officials say 18-year-old Evan Weaver was booked into jail on Friday.

Weaver is being held on suspicion of four counts of arson of property and one count of fraudulent use of a credit card.

The Arizona Daily Star says Weaver is accused of setting two fires last Sunday and two more on Thursday.
