SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The southbound lanes of the Loop
101 freeway
have re-opened in Scottsdale after an early
morning crash closed it for hours.

DPS spokesman Bart Graves says the 3 a.m. Friday chain-
reaction
crash involved seven vehicles and began when a suspected
impaired
driver rear-ended a car. Another impaired driver then hit
some of
the vehicles involved in the high-speed accident.

Four people were hurt, but none have life-threatening
injuries.
The most seriously injured was the woman whose car was hit
first.
She has head injuries.
