PHOENIX — Border authorities arrested a man accused of trying to cross into Mexico with an assault rifle taped to his body.

Customs and Border Protection said the discovery was made Saturday during a routine inspection at the Douglas, Arizona, station.

The 21-year-old Arizona man was turned over to Homeland Security.
