Main Street Minute: Grocery chain opens store in Chandler

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Winco Foods opens up a spot in Chandler near Loop 202 and Arizona Avenue on Thursday morning. The store, the sixth in the state, employs 150.

Goodwill career centers will host two weeks of job fairs in the Valley starting Thursday. T.E.A.M. Security will set up shop at the Mesa center on McKellips Road at 2 p.m. Thursday; the Alma School Road site in Chandler and the McDowell Road site in Phoenix will also host events starting at 10 a.m. Thursday.

• Small nonfarm businesses in Arizona are eligible to apply for low-interest federal disaster relief from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Eligibility is based on the financial impact of the disaster and not on property damage.
