Feb 13, 2015, 7:10 PM | Updated: 7:11 pm

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• The Pacific Northwest-based Haggen’s grocery store chain will be in Arizona by the end of June. Haggen’s bought nearly 150 former Safeway and Albertson’s stores on the West Coast. Ten of those locations are in Arizona, including Anthem and Scottsdale. The company will begin hiring soon.

• Clean up the resumes and bring plenty of them. More than 1,400 openings are up for grabs Friday at the Greater Phoenix Diversity Job Fair. Over 40 companies will be interviewing and hiring on the spot from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Phoenix Airport Marriott.
