Main Street Minute: Military career fair coming to the Valley

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• You can sign up for a career fair in Phoenix at the Radisson Hotel near the airport on Jan. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You will meet with multiple employers at the Coast-to-Coast Career Job Fair who are looking to fill hundreds of jobs. You will have the opportunity to meet with potential employers face-to-face.

• A military career event is coming to the Valley. Arizona veterans and their spouses seeking a job can attend the free event on Jan. 26 from 1-5 p.m. It’s at Westworld near Frank Lloyd Right Boulevard and the Loop 101.

• Phoenix Children’s Hospital is looking to hire over 100 people. They are looking for nurses, pharmacists, and medical assistants.
