Main Street Minute: Sprouts grows a little more in Valley

• Sprouts is expanding its Valley presence. The Phoenix- based organic grocery chain will open a 30,000-square-foot store near Lake Pleasant Parkway and Happy Valley Road in Peoria early next year.
• Penske Used Trucks opened its third location in Phoenix. The dealership is on more than two acres of land near Seventh Street and University Drive. It will sell used light, medium and heavy duty trucks and trailers. Penske’s other dealerships are in California and North Carolina.
• The Burton Barr public library in central Phoenix is
hosting workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs. The sessions run Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. Spanish-language sessions are from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Topics include creating a business plan, marketing strategies and contract negotiation. The library is located near Central Avenue and McDowell Road.
