Main Street Minute: Valley water park jumps in popularity

• P.F. Chang’s is hiring for several corporate positions. The restaurant needs directors of construction, leadership development coordinators and business intelligence specialists.

• Wet ‘n Wild Water Park in the Valley is growing in popularity. The park was 12th-most visited in the country, according to Themed Entertainment Association. The park, at Pinnacle Peak Road and 43rd Avenue, had just over 470,000 visitors in 2013, up 2.4 percent from 2012.

• Scottsdale continues to see growth in its hotel industry. Occupancy rates at hotels and resorts are up nearly 4.7 percent over this time last year, to 67.5 percent.
