Main Street Minute: Peoria set to discuss proposed entertainment complex

• The City of Peoria is asking for public input on the proposed P83 Sports and Entertainment District. The public is invited to attend a meeting tonight from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Arizona Broadway Theatre. The $90.5 million project will include a hotel, shops, restaurants and several entertainment venues walking distance from Peoria Sports Complex.
• Starwood Hotels and Resorts has opened a hotel in the Valley. The Four Points by Sheraton Phoenix is located near Interstate 10 and Elliot Road. It features 160 spacious guest rooms and suites, and nearly 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
• Chase Bank is hiring in Phoenix, Avondale and Fountain Hills. Direct-loan representatives are all full-time positions.
