Main Street Minute: Forbes rates Wildcats basketball No. 6 in value for college teams

• The University of Arizona basketball team is No. 6 on the Forbes list of most valuable college basketball teams. The list looked at the most recent data from the 2012-2013 season, which showed the Wildcats basketball program was valued at just at over $25 million. The university had a 29 percent increase in value over the previous year, which was the second-highest growth in all of sports.

• KB Homes has announced that it’s going to offer solar-powered options to all of its homebuyers across Arizona. The builder already has solar power in communities in California, Colorado, Nevada and Texas. The company estimated its homeowners saved a combined $1.5 million a year because of solar power.
