TUCSON, Arizona — A small plane crashed at Tucson International Airport on Monday.
Three people were aboard the single-engine plane when it went down around noon.
Authorities said the Beechcraft Bonanza hard-landed about 11:20 a.m. Monday in
an area adjacent to one of the runways, which has been closed for safety
reasons.
They said the plane had just taken off from the airport when it experienced some
sort of problem.
The airport said the crash did not affect operations.
Federal Aviation Administration officials said the agency will investigate the
incident.
