Scottsdale resort eatery ranked among top all-you-can-eat buffets in US

Unless you’re in Las Vegas, all-you-can-eat buffets can be very hit-or-miss, but one Valley eatery hits very, very well, according to the online foodie community Tabelog.
The Wandering Horse Buffet at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale placed 10th on Tabelog’s “12 Greatest All-You-Can-Eat Buffets in America” list.
Here’s Tabelog’s rationale for why the Scottsdale buffet makes the cut:
Take one of America’s best golf courses, add one casino and you have the ingredients of another world class buffet location. … With Kobe beef steaks, unlimited lobster claws, and a bacon carving station, you’ll forget about that 110 you shot on the course or $50 you lost on roulette.
Hungry customers can get into the buffet on weekdays for just $13.95 for lunch or $20.95 for dinner. On Fridays and Saturdays, the dinner price jumps up to $33.95. There is also a Sunday champagne brunch that runs $33.95.
Wandering Horse, which earned a Certificate of Excellence in 2014 from TripAdvisor, also recently began serving breakfast, which runs from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday for the price of $10.95 per adult. The restaurant also offers prime rib every Wednesday night and Alaskan king crab legs on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as during brunch every Sunday.
Coming in first in the Tabelog list was the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
