Main Street Minute: Ballgame tickets will help raise money for charity

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Buying a ticket to the Charro Lodge for Monday night’s Arizona Diamondbacks at San Francisco Giants game will benefit local charities. Price of the ticket at Scottsdale Stadium includes private seating as well as food and drinks. The nonprofit Scottsdale Charros said it will raise between $700,000-$750,000 for charities and to help fund education and scholarships this year. Tickets are available by calling the group at 480-990-2977.
• There’s a job fair Monday near Sky Harbor. The event runs from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Hilton Phoenix Airport near 44th Street and University Drive. More than 40 companies will be on hand hiring for more than 2,000 jobs.
• Fired Pie is opening its 15th Arizona location Monday. The popular pizza joint’s newest restaurant is located near Hayden and Mountain View roads in Scottsdale.
