PHOENIX — Saturday should be an infinitely enjoyable day.
At 9:26:53, the calendar and clock will combine to make up the first 10 digits of pi, a mathematical number used to measure circles, making it Pi Day.
March 14 is a day when geeks, err, math enthusiasts the world over unite to celebrate the infinite number by making pies and posting silly photos online.
Since no one has invented a way for us to deliver tasty baked goods through your computer screen (get with it, science), we decided to assemble some funny photos to make your Pi Day better.
It will be another 100 years before the calendar and clock match up again, so celebrate! Grab a slice of pie and look at pi below.
Wait, this sounds suspiciously like the premise of “Inception.”
We know it’s irrational, but we hope #YCSDstudents celebrate #PiDay tomorrow. 3.14.15 9:26:53 Once-in-a-lifetime! pic.twitter.com/5UlfZ24ESo
