Bird-watching: Chandler Ostrich Festival rushes to starting line Friday

The 27th annual Ostrich Festival kicks off at Tumbleweed Park at 2 p.m. Friday.
The big birds will race twice on Friday, and three times each on Saturday and Sunday. The festival also features multiple daily duck races.
Music acts include 1970s rock bank Grand Funk Railroad, country singer Colt Ford and Alice Cooper will make a special appearance with his son Dash’s band, Co-Op.
