Several roadwork projects will require closures and narrowing along Phoenix area freeways this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
• Westbound Loop 202 will be narrowed to one lane between McClintock Drive and Kyrene Road in Chandler from 10 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday. The westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at McClintock Dr. will also be closed from 9 a.m. Saturday to 9 p.m. Friday
• Loop 202 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions between Gilbert Road and Val Vista Drive in Mesa from 8 p.m. Friday to 4:30 a.m. Saturday for a widening project. The westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Gilbert Road will also be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
• Beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday, westbound Interstate 10 and northbound Interstate 17 will be narrowed overnight starting near Sky Harbor Airport until 5 a.m. Monday for pavement repair. The right two lanes of westbound I-10 will be closed between 32nd Street and I-17 while northbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane between I-10 and 19th Avenue. The eastbound I-10 ramp to northbound I-17 will also be closed.
• The northbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Thunderbird Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Sunday.
