Website study ranks Arizona among worst states for women

PHOENIX — Arizona was ranked among the worst states for women, in a study by a financial website.
WalletHub’s study, which was released in conjunction with Women’s History Month, ranked Arizona No. 32.
Variables included median income, health care, unemployment and high school dropout rates.
Among specifics, Arizona women ranked 36th in health care, 47th in voting in the 2012 presidential election, and 48th in high school dropouts.
Minnesota was ranked best for women, Arkansas was worst.
