PHOENIX — Deliberations resume Monday in the sentencing retrial of Jodi Arias, who will either receive the death penalty or life imprisonment.
Jurors left the Maricopa County Superior Courthouse on Thursday without reaching a verdict. They have been debating Arias’ fate since Wednesday.
A previous jury could not agree on Arias’ punishment, forcing a mistrial in May 2013.
Arias was convicted of the 2008 murder of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander.
The death penalty would be taken off the table if the jury
deadlocks. Judge Sherry Stephens would then determine whether Arias finished her life in prison or if after serving 25 years, parole was a possibility.

#jodiarias will go directly to Perryville prison from courtroom if she gets death. If life, could be same day or day after.
