This week, you can discover if you have what it takes to start your own business.
It’s Phoenix Startup Week, during which 120 Valley business leaders will participate in workshops, presentations and panels at locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe.
“Those speakers, many of whom have had experience in launching a startup at all different phases, will be able to share their advice, expertise, and learnings, to anyone who would like to come and learn more about being a successful startup,” said Chase Bank regional manager Noreen Bishop.
“What it takes to build and run a startup; how to get access to resources, funding, contacts, and tools to be able to launch, run, and potentially exit a startup business,” she said, listing the things aspiring entrepreneurs can learn.
The first event is Monday morning at 111 West Monroe Street in downtown Phoenix.
“It starts at 9 a.m., and we are going to be joined by Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton,” said Bishop. “Chase is also going to be providing a grant to the community as part of our commitment to the startup and entrepreneurial communities.”
