1 dead, 1 injured in accident at Loop 101 near Shea exit

PHOENIX — One person died and another was seriously injured Wednesday when a vehicle hit them as they were walking in a Scottsdale intersection.
Authorities closed the Loop 101 ramps at Shea Boulevard in both directions after the late-morning accident.
Shea exit from SB L-101 is now closed for a crash on the surface street. NB exit is open, but no left turn. Use Cactus, 90th St. exits.
